Between July 1st and July 12th, Google rolled out the July 2021 core update. This 12-day global update is now complete.

The Effects

Based on conversations within the SEO community, this broad core update seems to have affected keyword rankings on a large scale. These fluctuations in rankings may have been more noticeable on July 2nd and 9th.

What To Do

It is important to note that negative rankings do not directly mean that there is anything wrong with your pages. And many times, it is likely that the rankings will recover and settle after a core update. Google has mentioned on multiple occasions that there is often nothing to fix after an update. The best thing to do is simply to ensure that you are offering valuable and original content.

Why We Care

As your marketing partner, we strive to keep you informed of the latest search ranking algorithmic updates. We will continue to monitor your campaign and improve your site’s rankings on an ongoing basis.
